Can I submit application without FBI clearance and request for extension?

Hi,

I received ITA request on Oct4th and I have all documents ready except FBI clearance. FBI received my documents on Sept30th. Currently, they are processing early august applications.

Can I submit my application without FBI clearance and request for extension?
If yes, what documents do we need to include in LOE ?

I would like to know different possible options in worst case ?

You can request or an extension using the CSE Form. You might have to provide proof such as a Fedex trail of your submission to the FBI. As for submitting the rest of the documents. I’m pretty confident that you will get a 30 to 60 day extension.

As for your application, I would say send it just do not check the PCC box on the checklist.

@aditya.bhardwaja : did you get an extension? I think I will be delayed by FBI by a couple of weeks.
