Has anyone recently dealt with adding their spouse to their EE application during a later stage? I’m getting married in a few months and already have the COPR in hand as a single applicant.
I’ve done my research and it seems I will have to reach out to CIC to get my COPR and visa updated. I tried the webform but they got back with this:
- My application is “complete” so no further action required
- I can sponsor my spouse only after arriving in Canada
- I can add them only if they are accompanying
I’m not really getting a clear picture from them. I’ve also tried reaching out to CPC Ottawa via email, but no response.
So what are my options at this point? Is there any phone number of helpline available for EE?
