Can someone please help with experience of customs clearance in Toronto ? The van lines has asked me to print several forms and take to the location. Just wanted to know in advance any thing to look out for and / or any documents to take. Thanks.
Its an easy and smooth process, very well organized by the customs department. Even the wait isn’t long. If you go with the documents, you should be out in max 20 mins. I’m not sure if the process and timelines have got impacted during Covid though.
You need to go to two counters - first to verify the papers and answer a few basic questions and then to the payment counter to make any payments needed. In my case, it took me 5 mins at each of the counters.
