Moving from Dallas to Toronto - looking for recommendations on movers

We will be moving from Dallas to Toronto or Waterloo. We are looking for recommendations on movers.

We have furniture, kitchen utensils, and other stuff so cannot use the relocube by Upack. We checked with Upack and they also have a 17 foot trailer that could be an option we are considering.

If any member used any affordable movers, please help. Also, an estimate of pricing would be of great help too. Thanks.

We moved 2 months back and used Atlas Van Lines. They partner with EDC moving in most of Texas.

It was a tough call between Van lines and Upack but the difference wasn’t much considering we would have to use a local mover for loading and unloading. I had a full 2 BR move with kitchen stuff/bikes/light furniture/clothes/boxes.

In total, we spent around 5500 USD (in the peak month of June), and they delivered in 5 days. Car move was separate.

Got a similar quote from Allied (QMM) , while United quote was around 2K more.
