Sending cashier check to indian embassy for police clearance certificate

Hi -
when sending cashier check to indian embassy for police clearance certificate .
do I need to send two checks

  1. in favor of indian embassy - $40
  2. in favour of ICW - $2

One check should be fine. I sent my check to SFO consulate with the two amounts included in one. Perhaps it was mentioned on the SFO consulate website to do the same.

I sent one check and they called me to send 2 separate check …one of $40 and one for $2 .
Today I send checks again.
