Applying for green card before becoming Canadian citizen

Out of curiosity, after becoming Canadian PR, if one chose to apply for a green card by filing I-140, would that complicate receiving Canadian citizenship later? Thanks!

Your work-related immigration status in the US should have no negative effect on your ability to apply for citizenship in Canada, especially if you satisfy your RO requirements as a PR.

No it doesn’t.The requirements for US green card and Canadian POR are not dependent on one another.
