Wanted to understand that if I can apply for jobs in Canada while in the midst of availing PR and residing in USA?

There is nothing stopping you from applying for a job in Canada while applying for PR status - if you’ve already created your profile and you’re considered eligible, you can also take a look at the Canada Job bank and join there. Securing a job can earn you extra Express Entry Points.
