Applying to Work Permit Visa while my PR application is in currently in progress

Hello all,

I submitted all the required documents and currently, my PR application is in progress. I recently received a job from a Canadian Firm and they let me know that they will be applying for my work visa shortly.

  1. Considering the fact that my PR application is in process, will I face any issues with the issuance of the Work Permit Visa or at the Port of Entry?

  2. Can I apply for a Work Visa when my PR application is in process?

  3. Is it better to cancel my PR application and just proceed with Work Permit and apply for PR later?

Please help me, I greatly appreciate your valuable suggestions and inputs.
