All I live near the New Jersey / New York area. Are there any photo centers that can take photos according to PR specifications?
I’m not in NJ, but you may have to call and ask the various photo studios around you specifically for Canadian specs photos. I had to call a few studios in Salt Lake City before I found one.
I’ve found that photo studios in China towns are usual familiar with Canadian visa photo requirements.
Many studios give out digital photos for Canada PR. I called up two of them in NYC and went to one which was near to office - https://www.yelp.com/biz/photobar-new-york
For safer side, I gave him the description of what IRCC looks for in a digital photo. He was also saying they are picky and is ready to modify if it gets rejected. They charged $20.
We got our photos done at My Framing Store, Edison, NJ. The photographer knew the dimensions and requirements. Quick service. Got both our CoPRs and the PR cards without any request for resubmissions.
