Do I need employment reference letters for secondary applicant in EE as well?

I have added work experience for my wife (secondary applicant) as part of the EE profile. Now, during post-ITA document submission, do we need to provide employment reference letters for spouse’s work experience as well? Since we are not claiming points for the secondary applicant’s work experience, can we take it as not mandatory? Please help with your advice.

If you don’t claim points for the secondary, then you don’t need to show their employment reference letters. That’s what we are also doing as told by our consultant…
