I’m a doctor from Pakistan and I have a 4 year training in ophthalmology. I want to apply for ophthalmologist assistant in Canada which is NOC 3237. For doctors however, the NOC is 3112. I have the required experience for 3237, but I was of course an intern here, and not an assistant. Can I go for it? Or is it necessary to stick to the NOC for doctors even if I have experience of NOC for assistants?
