If I understand, you are asking about whether employer will send you a written offer letter with all details like salary/deductions, etc.

Even if they send it, you would need the LMIA number to apply for EE.

I would recommend get the offer letter anyway whether or not you get an LMIA. The offer letter can also substitute for proof of funds (you don’t need to show PoF if you have a job offer).

In the meantime if they give you LMIA, then take that as well and apply for EE. In either case I would recommend they probably expect you to join soon so get a work permit and start working there.
