Exporting Car with recall pending remedy

Good day, everyone!
I have a question for those who have moved to Canada from the United States and exported their vehicle.
My car is now subject to a recall that is still being remedied. That means I won’t be able to get a recall clearance letter and register the vehicle in Canada. This recall also affects vehicles in North America with the same model. So, I’m planning to get a letter from the auto dealership verifying that this recall may be repaired in a Canadian dealership, and hoping that I’ll be allowed to register my vehicle. Has anyone else ever experienced something similar? Any and all ideas are appreciated!
