We have a long list of goods to follow. Is there a limit of total values that you can bring as a first-time settler?
We completed our landing last week and AFAIK there is no limit on the GTF. Include everything that you may or may not bring to Canada. If you’re bringing jewellery, then the general recommendation is to get them professionally evaluated by a jeweller. But this isn’t necessary as we didn’t present a professional evaluation of our jewellery and the customs officer approved our GTF list. They didn’t even ask for a professional evaluation.
