Mutilingual Documents Translation

Hello everyone, did anyone ever submitted a document that is primarily in another language that would have an English caption for each document section, without a document translation?

I have a few documents that are both in Portuguese and English or Portuguese and french.

For example, the EU citizen card comes in the local language and English, my marriage certificate EU version also comes in several languages. I wonder if I can just submit them.

Has anyone ever done that?

I have had the experience of providing that type of document (With secondary English or French) to the Quebec driving license, SIN and health authorities with no problems.
