Overlap between Goods to follow and goods accompanying

Hope you are staying safe.
I am preparing my GTF and GA forms but I have a question. Suppose I declare my laptop + mobile phones as goods accompanying. Then I do soft landing and come back to US. While doing soft landing I got both forms stamped. And then I took those items back to US.

When I am returning to Canada next time, do I just show the Goods accompanying form? Or Should I add those items which were added in goods accompanying items in goods to follow as well, so that they would be allowed to be brought in next time?

Write down the serial numbers in the GA forms both times. In case the customs officer is really curious (or having a bad day), you can show both the forms and say that you carry these items when travelling. (I had these with me, didn’t list it in GA or GTF. Had no issues). YMMV
