PCC - Living in US for more than 10 years

Hello Guys,

I have been living in US for more than 10 years and haven’t stayed more than 6 months outside US. Do i still need a PCC from India ?

Thanks

jrice, i think any country that you have stayed after the age of 18 you need to get a PCC.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

It is “and” condition, if i were you i would not risk it because a lot of officers look for PCC.

  • you and your family members who are 18 years or older
    and
  • every country you (or a family member) stayed in during the last 10 years for 6 months or more in a row

Thanks

You do not need one from anywhere else.

I have also been in US more than 10 years. I was in Canada for a few months in that on work permit also. The only PCC I did was from FBI. It was sufficient.

I submitted that and my PR is in final stages (just sent passport), so this is from my experience.
