I am going to make a soft landing in Vancouver in September to activate PR. I wanted to know the process of sponsoring Spouse or Partner for the PR. I also wanted to know if Sponsoring her would be fast or her applying for PR as an individual. Any insights would be helpful.
I don’t know the process for sponsoring a spouse but from what I have read, it takes around an year to complete (again this is from hearsay).
If your spouse has her ECA and IELTS scores ready and if her total points are more than the current cutoffs, it might take the same time if she applies for PR independently.
