How long does it take to become a Canadian citizen after you get the PR and start living in Canada? And is it true that there are less restrictions fir working in US after you become a Canadian citizen? How difficult would it be to move to US after becoming a Canadian citizen/PR holder?

You have to be a PR and living in Canada for 3 years to become Citizen.
Thereafter you can apply for H1 or TN visa (assuming these visas remain in the future).
I know close friends who initial moved to Toronto from Palo Alto with exactly this thought in mind. But they ended up loving their life in the city so much that they don’t want to go back. They do use their Canadian citizenship to travel a lot.
