Proof of Funds (6 months average balance)

Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding the proof of funds letter for Canada.

My questions are,

  1. Does the proof of funds have to be equal to or more than the amount stated in the submission of interest in the Express entry pool?
    Or is it okay as long as the amount is above the minimum to bring to Canada for one person (CAD$12,960). https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

  2. To prove the average balance for the past 6 months, do I include full bank statements for the 6 months or will the bank summary showing the amount in each month suffice?
