I live in a place that is just out of walking distance of a major hub (Metrotown) so I want to buy a scooter to drive myself to Metrotown and take public transit from there.
Given Vancouver’s weather, what are the pros and cons of this thinking? I am seeing a lot of scooters these days (Meaning June - July) on streets but would like to know from people that have lived here longer if that is something that is realistic year round / what precautions one would have to take in order to be able to ride a scooter when it is not summer.
