Hi everyone, My name is Tarun Sangishetty. I have recently moved to Canada as a permanent resident. It’s two of us, my wife and I. We are put up in North York as of now. I am still searching for a full time job here and I don’t have any Canadian work experience as of now.
I am searching for a place to rent. I have been searching on Kijiji but I’m not very confident in this approach. I am also talking to a realtor but if I go through the usual route I am looking at a year long lease and a 2-3 months of deposit which is quite hefty at the moment. So I am asking for help from all the wonderful people here.
If anyone of you have any friends or acquaintances who have a basement or an apartment which they are willing to rent out on a Month to month basis it will be really helpful, maybe you can drop a message to me or share a contact. Maybe a contact number of a rental apartment owner maybe, whom I may approach directly for an offer.
