Question based on a hypothetical scenario. Wife and I both apply for and get a PR (I am the primary applicant). We both do the landing and other formalities and get the PR activated. I satisfy the 2 out of 5 years criteria for PR renewal, but wife does not. Will I then, as a Canadian PR, be able to sponsor her PR all over again? Will there be any issues with that?
Losing PR by not maintaining RO is not that big of a deal and has no adverse effects in the future and PR can be availed later, unlike misrepresentation. If you are a PR living in Canada or can sufficiently prove that you intend to settle in Canada with sponsored partner you can sponsor her in future.
