US Visit visa query

Hi Friends

I am planning to apply for a US visitor visa, while filling the ds160 form, they have asked for employer address.

I work from home for a US company. The company doesn’t have a physical location in Canada.

The doubt I have is if I provide my employer US address, it may raise a doubt in the visa officer mind that I am going for work, since my employer is in US.

Anyone with a similar experience ?

Thanks

I went through the interview with a similar employment arrangement and got my visa approved. As always there are no guarantees but you’ll be fine.

I made sure to explain my situation in the DS160 (which is used by the interviewer to judge you even before you say a word at the interview - use this in your favour), as well as verbally in the interview. For instance, in the job description field I mentioned like so - working for the Canadian team of company X, with customers based in a,b,c Canadian cities.
