I want to share my experience with regards to obtaining transcripts from Visvesvaraya Technological University aka VTU for my Bachelors degree.
Option 1:
Step 1: Go to this link http://vtu.ac.in/online-fee-payment/ and Pay the fee via PAYUMONEY
Step 2 : Make a Payment of 500 in case you are applying for 1 transcript and the convenience fee ( Rs 4 and the GST ( Rs.1 ) will be automatically Calculated. Once the receipt is generated it is mailed to your email ID. Get a printout of this receipt
Step 3: From the link http://vtu.ac.in/online-fee-payment/ download and fill the application for Issue of Official transcript ( item #13 ) and fill it up.
Step 4: If you are in Bangalore go and submit it to the regional Office at Nagarbhavi. Address : isvesvaraya Technological University, Regional Center Bengaluru,RHCS Layout Annapoorneshwari nagar, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru-560091.
Step 5: GO to Office after 2 weeks and you can collect the transcript.
OPTION 2:
There is a Photo Copy shop right opposite to VTU regional office in Bangalore. Tell the store keeper that you need to apply for transcript for WES evaluation and he will get every thing done including the online payment.
Note: You don’t have to carry or submit a photocopy of either your marks card or the Degree Certificates
