I hope you get through the process soon. Waiting for a year is quite frustrating.
Wish you all the luck and hope your wait gets over really soon
Yes I am already working in Canada.
Hi @mitulkathuria Yes. I got my COPR email finally on 9th May. But I am out of the country at the moment and so will submit my passport once I am back in India. But I am glad it has finally happened after almost 9 months. My AOR was 14th August, 2018.
I think what pushed my application through was my request for GCMS notes. At least, I think so. I sincerely hope it works out for each and every one who has been waiting. I know this process really tends to test your patience. Good luck to all!
Many congratulations
Just want to ask, did you have any dependents in your application or was it just you.
@bhaumikm:Congratulations. What is the date you got GCMS notes and when did you get COPR email …What did you see in your GCMS notes? I ordered GCMS notes and it says my Exp letter has issue date missing so planning to get new letter. what was your application status before you got COPR email?
Hi. How do you know there is an issue after reading the GCMS notes? I could note easily decode the lengthy GCMS notes I got a couple of weeks back.
In the last couple of pages, you will see the notes put by the agent and that should tell u if any issues with anything you submitted.
I check the notes and these is what it says in the notes:
On Page 2
ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Met
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:
And under Notes this is what it says:
Most of the places in the notes it says,
Appears Met
OR
Appears to Meet
Is it different than Passed or Complete? Does “Passed” and “Complete” have different meaning in the first place?
Everything looks clean as per your notes. May be it is all the wait game for you.
Thanks a lot for the feedback. It seems the wait game is going to last for a bit longer after checking people’s status on this forum. I have requested for another set of GCMS notes this week. Let’s hope there is progress.
@waiting1234 I got my GCMS notes on May 2nd and COPR email on 9th May. There was no issues flagged and all seemed okay. Security and criminality checks were pending as per the notes. My work experience was considered fine and I also met the eligibility criteria. But what I noticed was that there was no activity on my account after end of September 2018. So I am guessing that my request compelled them to look at my application.
Application status was that we are processing your background check. But that also changed towards end of April only. So it is my assumption that ordering the notes worked in my favour.
Do submit the experience letter again and hopefully your application will also sail through. Best wishes
Thanks Bhaumik and wish u all the best in all your future endeavours…
AOR 28 December 2018
Medical passed 9 February 2019. After that I went into IP1 and never got any update until 4 May 2019. Background check started, went into IP2 and was asked for the landing fee that day. Got the PPR email today !! I can’t believe it only took around 4.5 months for me.
Hi Mithul,
Any update on your application yet? MyImmiTracker shows some people who applied after us getting their PPR requests.
Congratulations!!!
My AOR is on December 4th
Medicals Passed on January 17th
Since then my background check status is “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
The background check has not yet started.
When I emailed them, they say that it is still under process.
I am close to the deadline. Do I need to contact anyone for this delay? Is there a chance of rejection or anything if it takes too long.
Can someone help me what to do? I already ordered some GCMS notes. Is it normal that still my BGC is not started?
Hi Vahrun,
To whom did you send the email. I mean did you send email to CIC or the Visa Office processing your case. Can you share email id? My case is also same 12 days left for 6 months
