I need to get Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) from Indian Embassy in San Francisco. The relevant link of PCC is: https://www.cgisf.gov.in/page/pcc-police-clearance-certificate/
Details from the website include:
- For Indian passport holders, a non refundable fee of $25 (twenty five) + $2 Indian Community Welfare Fee (ICWF) w.e.f. Oct. 01, 2012.
- Fees should be paid through Money order or Cashiers’ cheque drawn in favor of the ‘ Consulate General of India, San Francisco’. NO BLANK CHECK/MONEY ORDER WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE CONSULATE. Cash, Personal Cheques, Credit Cards, Debit Cards or other banking instruments are not accepted.
So it seems like they need TWO cashier checks: $25 and $2. My question is about the second $2 check. Should that one be drawn to ‘Consulate General of India, San Francisco’ or to ’ Indian Community Welfare Fee (ICWF) '???
