I have a question regarding health insurance for our baby who is a US citizen.
Me and my spouse are Canadian PR holders and we will be moving to Canada in 2022. We plan to go there and sponsor him for his PR.
We just checked the current processing times for PR sponsorship of the dependent child and currently taking 18 months.
While he is waiting for his approval, in what ways will he be able to get access to health insurance?
Also, he may need vaccinations regularly, so are there any alternatives to provincial health insurance? Any idea how much they cost per month? And if he has no insurance how much would the regular and emergency visits cost?
