Next Steps after Temp Work Visa - US to Canada

Hello All,

I received my Work visa this month. Will be travelling from the California to Vancouver in March. I will be driving my car across the border and will have movers bring my stuff up North. I need some advise on the process/documentation required for exporting/importing my car and most importantly the process/documentation related to moving the goods from US to Canada.

The process is straight forward. I would advise going to Riv.ca and reading up about it. They even prepare a checklist for you to how to move your car.

Hi there, hope your move to Canada was smooth. I’m planning to move from Seattle to Vancouver at the end of December and currently scouting for movers. Do you have a recommendation on whom I could use?
