Hi avj, Sorry I might me repeating the content again. I just received my ITA a day ago. Have booked for Medical checkups too.

  1. I came to USA in 2015 for my masters and went to India during vacation in 2016 and last December 2018, should I get PCC from India too? I was on vacation for less than a month. Please accept my apologies.
  2. I looked at FBI website for fingerprint, but unsure where to get it done here in Missouri.

If you were in India, prior to 2015, then you need PCC from India too.
You need PCC from every country where you have spent more than 6 months in the last 10 years.

Thanks for getting back. This is helpful and I will be looking out to send in docs to Chicago Indian embassy. Do you think other centers might expedite the process if I say send it to Florida or it does not matter. I am confused about getting finger prints done.

how did you apply to the SFO consulate? Any documented process?

I just followed the procedure given on their website (this was back in 2016 not sure if things have changed).
