Awesome… thank you! Is there a good chance I get PPR within my 6 month timeframe (20 more days) ? I’m contemplating ordering the GCMS notes now…

Congratulations!

I have applied for PR sponsored by my wife in canada. How long will it take my PR application to get approved by cic?

It should happen the following month about month and half from your date of previous medical expiration.

Please do share on the forum whenever you get your re-medical assessment request from IRCC.

My AOR is 5th November 2018. Still no sign of any improvement on my application. They still haven’t started with my background check. They are still seeing if i meet the eligibility requirements. And a phone call with their agent always provides the same reply as on the online portal. The medicals passed on December 18th but no updates since then.
I ordered for GCMS, CBSA and CSIS notes on May 23rd 2019, and still haven’t heard from them. Anyone has a clue as to what’s going on here?

Have you not received any of your notes yet?

Are re-medicals free or you have to pay the same fees again.

It needs to be paid for mate

Hmmmm…So, they delay you for no clear reason and they still make you pay for their tardiness? How is that fair?

Hi.

I also wanted to confirm if the expiry date of the medicals is exactly 1 year from the day you do you medicals?

Yes it’s a year from date on your medical sheet.

Hi,

I have applied as FSW-Outland with below timelines :
AOR: 07.12.2018
MEP: 16.01.2019

I have recently applied for GCMS and found all items were cleared except “Review required for job description/duties NOC 2171”.
Job description/duties were confirmed by former team lead as my company doesn’t provide letter as such.

Please kindly suggest me if anything i need to do from my end to support the job duties.

Thank you.

Hi Prasad,

Whats the current status of your application? My application says the same things as you have mentioned above, and the due date for completion of my application is 30th July 2019. Could you let me know did you get your PPR on your end date?

Regards,
Swapnil

Hi everyone,

I finally got my PPR on June 13, 2019 (after applying for Express Entry - CEC on July 23, 2018). I sent my passport to the Passport Submissions office in Ottawa and it arrived there on July 8, 2019. I need to travel outside of Canada on August 2, 2019. Does anyone think I will be getting my passport back in time? Thank you all and good luck with your immigration processes.

No, you don’t need to do anything unless you have any other documents to help with proving this employment. Typically, if they need additional information, they will reach out to you.

Thank you.

Have you got your re-medicals request?

Hi,
I applied for my EE (FSW)on July 14 2018, my profile was picked up on the next day itself and I submitted all docs within 90 days.My medicals are clear. No need for biometrics.I ordered gcms notes too, it says review required for my work exp, everything else is clear. If that’s the case, they did not send me any email, asking for any new documents. No emails from cic.
Today its 26 July 2019, still waiting on decision.
Is any one else in same boat?
Will my profile gets expired if its 1 more year or so? or how many more years?Idk… how long will I have to wait???

Any feedback/input is appreciated.
Thanks!
