Looks like your application went into advanced security check.
Only option to get detailed info about your application is through GCMS notes.
You profile will not get expired. You may get request for re - medicals or your medicals will be automatically extended.
Raising a web case enquiry or calling IRCC can help, you can ask the status of your application.

Hi man…my background check status changed from “BC in progress to We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you” on 25th July. AOR 12 feb

Mine didn’t move a status for 5 months so I know it is hard to be in suspense but waiting is the only answer after 5 months in a span of 15 days everything was complete so you can call cic and ask them if there is anything alarming or missing in your account by telling them all your friends application s are being processed - the number of people doing this has increased so you might get a generic reply if not they will tell you I don’t see any thing bad in the notes so you should recieve it in 6 months timeline and I did
It’s difficult to say how much more time the processing would take. Some times it takes a few days and other times a few months.
yes i did. and it just says its all good. but i can’t figure out where the application is stuck
Hey, i applied on november the 5th. The medicals were passed by december 18th. I got my GCMS notes a couple weeks ago and i see everything is fine, but i don’t understand where my application is at or how much time do i expect before getting my PR. Could anyone help?

@Rahul1986 No. Its been 10 days since my medicals has expired and 1 year exact since AOR. No update at all. This is so frustrating
To the best of my understanding they’ll definitely ask for your medicals soon and from what I’ve seen in this forum they’ll ask for re-medicals somewhere around mid November.

Oh my god. 4 more months for re medicals would be a long wait. I hope I dont have to wait for that long. I just got a new job. I will soon have to submit my new job letter to them as well.
Sorry Jonathan my humble apologies as I calculated the re-medical timeline as per my medicals which are due to expire in September.
However for you I believe the re-Medical assessment will come somewhere around August end.
It usually happens between 1-1.5 months after the expiration of first medical report.
Hello Everyone,
I finally got the Golden PPR email at last after applying through Express entry- on August 17 2018. My application was in BC since September 2018. Thank you all who provided support and information when needed. The only change I recently had in my life is i got married in Jan 2019 and i did not notify CIC and now in the PPR email, they have asked to notify of any changes in marital status. Should i let me them know about the marriage even though at this point she will not be accompanying me? Also, will CIC see it as an issue that I did not notify them immediately after marriage in January? Once i notify the CIC after marital status change, will that put my application back into processing ? I would appreciate if anyone can provide details in this regard. Thanks Again to everyone.
